The house is set back well away from the road, closed off with gates and surrounded by woods, in a quiet countryside quarter about 4 km from the ancient village and about 10-15 minutes' drive to the towns of Bandol and St-Cyr and the many lovely beaches. A detached cottage unseen by others in the secluded hills beyond the old and elegant seaside town and working fishing port of Bandol, located on approximately four acres of terraced slopes on a hilltop with a spectacular view of the Bay of La Ciotat, 'Port Vignoble' is beautifully restored, furnished and equipped, sleeping, ideally, anything from a couple to a family of four. It is centrally air conditioned and heated. Hidden by our pine woods off the country road that runs from Bandol to the ancient village, French doors open onto the large terrace in the front onto an aerial view of the Mediterranean across vineyards descending to the sea. We have two bedrooms, shower room, large kitchen-dining room, sitting room and laundry room. Newly centrally air-conditioned and heated. Guest access Two bedrooms, a living room, kitchen/dining room and shower room. Please note the main bedroom has a double bed (raised) and the secondary bedroom has single-sized bunk beds. Hence it is suitable for a maximum of two adults and two children/adolescents. The kitchen is fully outfitted. All linens, towels, etc. are provided. There is a washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, etc. There is air conditioning and heating (and a fireplace). The most outstanding feature is the outdoors. We have a large terrace overlooking the Mediterranean with spectacular views of both the sea looking towards La Ciotat and the Saint Baume mountain. Located on higher ground than our surrounding neighbours some distance away, it is completely private and self-contained within our own large wooded property of natural beauty.
