Misty Mountain Lodge is a place where family and friends come to celebrate, unplug, and create memories of a lifetime. The Misty Mountain Lodge has been crafted to maximize interaction and comfort. You'll enjoy a gorgeous 10+ person cinema room with 100" screen, large game room with pool table and air hockey, full spa, gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances, outdoor hot tub and 36" built in BBQ. Experience luxury with a touch of mountain hospitality. Misty Mountain Lodge is a unique mountain house with five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a private cinema room for a movie viewing experience, a game room with a bar and two living rooms. The house has been curated to maximize comfort and entertaining. It's suitable for up to sixteen guests looking for an authentic Big Bear experience. We are limited to maximum occupancy to 16- Max 18adults & 4 parked cars. Here's the sleeping situation: 2nd Floor Master: King and Full (with ensuite bathroom) 2nd Floor Guest Bedroom: Queen with Roll Away Twin 2nd Floor Guest Bedroom #2: Queen Kid's Zone: 2 Fulls/ 1 Twin There are three full bathrooms. One en-suite master bathroom One 2nd floor guest bathroom with double vanity First floor full bathroom Misty Mountain lodge is located in one of the most accessible neighborhoods in Big Bear. It boasts easy access to the ski areas, village, and all that Big Bear has to offer. You'll be minutes from Bear Mountain Ski Area and Snow Summit Ski Area. Enjoy a short ride to the village for some shopping or local cuisine. Cruise over to Big Bear Discovery Center for some hiking and learn more about the history of Big Bear. If you don't feel like venturing out on the mountain there's plenty to do in the Lodge. The theater room provides a movie theater experience in the convenience of the Manor. It's ideal for sports viewing parties, movie premiers, binge-watching your favorite show, or experience an old movie again. The Lodge also boasts a large game room with an Air Hockey Table, Pool Table, and several arcades. The room has a custom bar (you'll provide your own beverages) with beverage refrigerator so everyone can enjoy the action. If you find yourself in pain after a long day on slopes jump in the spa on the rear deck and soak away the soreness. There's room for six so you can share your war stories from the day. There is also a full spa with massage table and infrared sauna that can fit 3 people. The downstairs is the Kid's Zone. It's the perfect place to watch some Netflix or give the children some space to play. The Kid's Zone has a Play Station 5 that kids will love to play on a 75" Samsung flat screen smart TV. The laundry room has two washers and two dryers. Those come in handy if there's an accident or you feel like rocking your favorite outfit every day. Here's a few common questions and answers that will help you decide if Big Bear Manor is a good fit for your mountain adventure. Can we cook at The Lodge? You'll love having the ability to stay in and cook. The cabin is fully equipped with a gas range and oven. We keep the kitchen stocked with all the basic utensils, pots, pans, plates, and glassware. With the kitchen setup, you'll have no problem feeding the hungriest of bears. When you're done throw your dishes in the dishwasher and enjoy time with the family. You'll also have access to a 36" Blaze built in BBQ on the back deck for those perfect grilling days. We also provide Keurig machine with pods to ensure everyone is caffeinated. Are we able to use the fireplaces? Yes! There's nothing like a warm fire on a cold mountain night. There are two fireplaces in the Lodge. One is in the main living room and the other is the game room. Both are wood burning only. You can pick up firewood at any of the local gas stations or grocery stores. What's the TV situation at the Lodge? TV. is definitely optional in Big Bear but after a long day on the trails, you may want to catch your favorite show or a movie. There are (6) new Samsung Flat Screen Smart TV in the Lodge (from 43" to 75"). You can access Cable TV, Netflix, Disney or airplay a show/movie from your favorite electronic device. The Kid's Zone has a 75" Samsung flat screen smart television with a Play Station 5 for the ultimate gaming. What is the bedding like? All the beds ay the Lodge are new 14" Pillowtop mattresses (except kid's zone that has kid's mattresses). The bedding is flannel sheets with Ugg comforters. Is there a Concierge Service? We are glad you asked! Yes. Our concierge service is available for all your needs. They will meet and greet you at the cabin upon your arrival. Surprise your loved one with a flower bouquet, just send us a message and we'll have them delivered to the cabin. Don't want to lift a finger during your trip? Ask the concierge's to grocery shop, pick-up lift tickets or arrange a taxi. These are just a few of the things the concierge services can do for you. *Additional fee's apply for some concierge services. Our guests will have access to the whole house, the front deck, the back deck, theater room, the games room, hot tub, and outdoor space. In person check-in is required per the Big Bear Lake Vacation Ordinance. Big Bear Concierge will meet you at the property and take a copy of your ID and you will be signing the Big Bear lake Good Neighborhood Policy/Rules. Note: Big Bear Lake is very strict in their vacation rental ordinances. Not following the vacation rental ordinances will result in fines and/or eviction. Ski Area 1.6 Miles to Snow Summit Ski Area 2.5 Miles to Big Bear Village 1.8 Miles to Big Bear Snow Play 1.3 Miles to the lake Just two hours from Los Angeles, Big Bear in the San Bernardino Mountains offers a cool, pine-scented escape at an altitude of 6,759 feet. It is known for its ski resorts in the winter and the seven-mile lake and golfing in the summer. Whichever season you visit, Big Bear is a year-round Southern California escape. For the skiers and snowboarders, the famous Big Bear Mountain Resort offers 62 runs and 748 acres of skiable terrain. Other winter sports available at the resort include lift-assisted sledding and tubing runs at Big Bear Snow Play and Grizzly Ridge Tube Park. When the weather warms up, a whole other world of activity begins. Snow Summit’s Scenic Sky Chair transforms into a mile-long ride to 8,200-foot panoramic views, and biking, hiking, and camping options abound. The 7-mile lake is surrounded by towering pines and mountain peaks and offers a veritable playground for motorized- and people-powered watercraft. You can rent equipment of all types, including paddleboards, kayaks, or boats for waterskiing or fishing. There are many events throughout the year, if you’d like to tie your vacation to a specific occasion. Choose from events such as fishing tournaments and fireworks to the annual Big Bear Lake Oktoberfest. A personal vehicle is strongly recommended. The closest airport is Palm Springs (PSP), about 37 miles away. Big Bear Lake Law Requires ALL RENTERS MUST DISPOSE OF THEIR TRASH AT BIG BEAR TRASH SITE Clean Bear Trash Site 41974 Garstin Road Cross streets are Big Bear BLVD and Garstin/Moonridge (west) . The trash site is located on the right side about 2 blocks down Garstin. There will be a $150 dollar charge or $25 each trash bag left behind. Whichever is greater. RESPECT NEIGHBORHOOD TRANQUILITY Disturbing the peace of a residential neighborhood you are occupying is a city ordinance violation . Please keep noise to a minimum during the hours of 10 pm and 8 am. ABIDE BY OCCUPANCY LIMITS (MAX 16) Each property is licensed to accommodate a maximum amount of people Day and Night. 8 Adults maximum. Please do not exceed this number. PARK CARS APPROPRIATELY (MAX 4) The Big Bear City Ordinance limits the number of cars parked at each property . Parking more cars is a city ordinance violation. Keep all cars parked in driveway. During Snow conditions do not block plows or park anywhere on the street.
