Welcome to the retreat in the city! Shalom Cottage is a family owned *gem* with a curated design inspired by world travels. Steps away from the best bars, restaurants and convention center; we are truly the best location in the city - everything in the Short North is less than a block away. We are also a short walk or drive to Lower Field (Cbus Crew), OSU The Shoe, Arena District, and many other popular downtown destinations. Our home has 1 compact driveway spot and a parking garage 364ft away. Each space in the house is curated to reflect our favorite travel destinations! As you enjoy your time in the house, we have notes about each location hidden in each room. Be sure to take time to enjoy the photos and custom artwork on the walls. It is a truly one-of-a-kind home! Hotels charge $70+ per night for parking in this area; our parking is free! Guests have easy access to 1 small parking spot in the shared driveway. The parking is narrow, so small sedans and compact SUVs will fit best. If you have a larger vehicle, paid parking is available in the parking garage down the road. There is a small patio in the back garden for warm summer nights. A unique door code is provided to each guest to freely come and go through the front door. We love our guests! We will be off site, but available with a quick phone call or message. Please do not hesitate to reach out during your stay. We are in the heart of the Short North! It is only 370 feet to High Street (less than one block!) with all of the fun restaurants, bars, and shops. Walking distance to the Convention Center, KEMBA Live, and many other popular destinations. It’s the best location in the city! Everything is a short walk away. If you are driving here, we recommend parking at the house (1 small/medium vehicle, others park in Hubbard Parking Garage) and walking around the area. Late checkout (between 10:15am-2pm) or early check in (case-by-case) is an option depending on availability for an additional $50 each per stay. Please send us a PM after booking with any questions! For the TV, we offer local channels and connections for streaming (ie HDMI ports, FireStick) Please bring your own log-ins.
