Simply take a rideshare to our location and we offer complimentary luggage drop off in a locked foyer prior to check in. This listing is for the main floor very spacious/entire first floor suite. Here, modern and industrial meets artsy, eclectic, repurposed and fun! We all poured our heart and soul into making our rooms glam and fun. You can kick back after work, shopping or venturing and we promise that you will feel right at home. Our 2 bed/2 bath first floor suite is completely renovated and modern from top to bottom. We have lots of private spaces to make your trip comfy and inviting. 10' ceilings, crown molding, gleaming wood floors, barn doors, floor to ceiling black out drapes, chefs kitchen with stainless appliances w quartz and beautiful wood butcher block countertops, huge glass shower, double vanities, repurposed wood and brick and so much more. The bedrooms are generously sized with luxurious bedding and loads of pillows. We have a king bedroom and a queen bedroom. Total: (2) beds. Our style: We specialize in collecting cool stuff and converting vintage items into amazing and one of a kind pieces . We love it when people ask us "Why didn't I think of that? Every room has signature pieces that you will not see anywhere else. Play darts or vintage foosball (our games randomly change) or have a drink at our unique repurposed bar. Here you can listen to 90's cd's on a vintage boombox, play some vinyl on our record player, or spend an afternoon drawing or doodling at our art desk." Our huge outdoor patio is illuminated with Edison bulbs and is an amazing oasis in the city. Our private parking lot provides up to two vehicle parking for registered guest owned vehicles/rental(s) of this suite. The best part about Vardry Place is the location. Located just 1/2 block from Main in the West End which is booming with new and exciting developments and cooperatives. The West End is "the" place to be in Greenville with so many great eateries, breweries, coffee shops and eclectic shops. We also provide a complete guidebook with lots and lots of suggestions for you (and most are within walking distance). Also, Fluor Field is just around the corner. Whether you are in Greenville to attend an event or show, ride the Swamp Rabbit Trail (just an 8 minute walk or 4 minute ride), attend a concert at the Peace Center (15 minute walk), catch a baseball game (5 minute walk) or explore the city by trolley car or just here to chill and sit outside and watch the Thursday seasonal fireworks, we have your home base handled... Guest access If you bring bikes to conveniently catch and ride the Swamp Rabbit Trail, you can store them in our private backyard. Bring your own lock. We are located just 1/2 block off of Main Street which is the hub of Downtown Greenville. Biking and walking are so easy from our location. If you don't feel like walking, rideshares are readily available to take you throughout the city. The FREE downtown trolley stops at Fluor Field which is a 5 minute walk around the corner. Walking: 8 minutes to access the Swamp Rabbit Trail. The Swamp Rabbit trail is amazing and a great walk, skate or bike ride. 15 minutes to the awesome "Commons" collective of restaurants and bars on the trail. 10 minutes to the Falls Park. 2 minute walk to The Whale Taproom. 8 minutes to "Gather",an awesome container village, on Augusta St. for food, drinks and entertainment. 8 minutes to local, live music at Smileys. Many amazing restaurants, bars and shops which are a 5 minute to 30 minute walk north on Main Street or on Augusta Street. Bikes are available to rent just five minutes away at Fluor Field. Just an 8 minute walk to event venues Zen and Cigar Warehouse (location will soon become a brewery), 15 minute walk to The Peace Center and Civic Theatre. Other things to note We are surrounded by new brownstone condominiums and a historic home (turned office) is located across the street from us. Main Street is behind us and new apartment buildings, restaurants and retail spaces are located there. We ARE NOT located on a main thoroughfare but we are located in the city and close to all of the action of Greenville. As a courtesy, we offer blackout/noise buffering drapes in the bedrooms as well as ear plugs and noise machines. If you are not familiar with city noises, we have you handled. You DO NOT have to walk through dark, residential city streets which are blocks away from Main Street. We are just a half a block from Main Street and you can see it from our back patio. Main Street hosts most of the action of Downtown Greenville or will take you to cross streets which host more exciting and fun experiences. Need suggestions on where to go??
