Kimo’s Kāmala is a vacation rental, located in the very quiet Waikoloa Village, Hawaii. The ~700 sf recently renovated kāmala with dedicated parking can host up to 6 people with two queen size beds (1 Seta, 1Tuft and Needle) and 2 futon sleeper couches (I adult each). The kāmala is located on the tee box of the 4th hole of the Waikoloa Village golf course, and extremely close (right across the street) to amenities like the community pool, tennis courts, the golf clubhouse, and restaurant. Waikoloa Village is at approximately 1,000 feet of elevation. The kāmala has beautiful views of the golf course, and just a short walk down the sidewalk provides beautiful scenic views of the ocean and sunsets (our cover photo). The community has breathtaking views of five volcanoes (Kohala, Mauna Kea, Mauna Loa, Hualalai, and Haleakala on Maui), as well as the Kohala Coast, Kohala mountains. Beautiful beaches are just a short drive away (we recommend the black sand beaches). Kona is 30-40 minutes away, Waipio Valley is about 75 minutes, and Hilo is about a 90 minute drive through beautiful Hawaiian country. For food, shopping at the local KTA grocery store and the Queens food court is just up the road from the kāmala. The kāmala includes a full size refrigerator with freezer, stove and oven, microwave, and toaster oven. The kāmala is equipped with television and a cable package (including HBO), as well as high speed wireless internet (wired connection available). Also included is a portable air conditioning unit that keeps the kāmala cool on those warm days and humid nights that Hawaii is famous for. There’s are neighbors, but either rarely there or fairly quiet. We’re available by email or message through the app. We leave you to enjoy Hawaii. We may check in with you as needed, but like to give you your space. We’re right by the golf clubhouse, which has a restaurant. We’re also just down the street from the KTA grocery store and the Queens marketplace in Waikoloa village, which has a subway, Mexican food place, and several tasty Asian food choices. We have a dedicated parking space, or you can park on the street. We recommend you have a vehicle of some sort; there’s so much of Hawaii to see.
