Centrally located in the village of Croyde sits Hobbs House. The perfect family escape for a fantastic Croyde Break. This spacious accommodation has room for all the family. A walk-through lounge/diner with seating for everyone, allows for cosy nights in watching a film, or some quiet reflection when the rest of the family are busy with their own activities. French doors from the dining room lead out into the beautiful and mature gardens with a generous patio area great for those evening BBQ’s. The expansive lawns is perfect for letting the kids run off the last of their energy. A further raised decking area, makes sure you can always catch the rays whatever the time of day An outdoor shower and side access to the garden helps you clean off after a full day of beach fun, and keeps the sand outside! The central location means that you have a variety of options for eating out, right on your doorstep. If you do fancy a night in, a separate galley style kitchen makes meal prep easy, with plenty of space to help feed the masses! A separate Den with sofa and games means the kids can have their own space too, and their own TV. There should be no arguing over the sleeping accommodation, with four comfortable, light and airy bedrooms. Due to its elevated position Hobbs House benefits from some stunning views of the local area and even some sea glimpses from the triple aspect master bedroom. The family bathroom located upstairs and an additional downstairs shower room, means queuing for the bathroom is not going to be a problem. Fancy a day at the beach, you are only a 10 minute walk, through the dunes, away from Croyde Beach, or jump in the car (there are 2 parking spaces) and you can head further afield to Woolacombe or Putsborough Sands. Hobbs House is managed by Holidays in Croyde, a small family business based in Croyde. As we live in the village, we are on hand throughout your stay to help you get the most out of your holiday. Guests have sole access to the entire property during their stay I live in the village so am available if needed. I try to meet all of our guests once they have checked in and had a chance to settle in to welcome you to the property and area. After that I am available by phone or message during your stay. Everyone who visits Croyde falls in love with the place. Often referred to as the jewel in North Devon's crown, Croyde is a timeless place full of traditional thatched roofs cottages, surrounded by stunning countryside with one of the best surfing beaches in the UK. Croyde caters for all ages and tastes. Behind the thatched roofs and cob walls are traditional pubs serving local foods and ales, gift shops and tea shops serving Devonshire cream teas. Croyde is a vibrant place with a lively surfing scene, attracting surfers, young people and families from all over the world. The surfing scene has brought with it more modern businesses offering a wider variety of pubs, restaurants and bars along with surf shops offering sales, hire and lessons. There is dedicated Parking for two cars at the property If you wish to explore a little further afield then there is a local bus that services the village. The route covers the main villages and towns from Ilfracombe to Westward Ho on the other side of the estuary. This is a great way to explore some of the other beaches in the area and avoid having to find somewhere to park. There are several local taxi firms that service the area if you wish to use them. It is recommended that you book in advance if you wish to hire a taxi, as they do book up fairly quickly, especially in high season.
