If you're looking to get away from the hustle & bustle of daily life this is the place to stay. Located in the mountains a short drive from the charming towns of Honesdale, Cochecton & Callicoon this renovated farmhouse is sure to provide plenty of entertainment for your family's stay. We're only a 30 minute drive from Elk Mountain so you can spend the day skiing and then come back to enjoy the garage game room, a show on the large Smart TV, or beautiful views of the valley from the back porch. The space There are four bedrooms, one king bedroom and bathroom with shower (no bathtub) on second floor, two bedrooms with queen beds, and one with two single beds. 3 bedrooms have nice sized closets and extra blankets. Down the same hallway is the bathroom which has a full sized shower with a tub, shower gel and shampoo is provided,, The living room has plenty of comfortable seating and a large Smart TV with DishTV so you can watch all of your favorite channels and shows. Please note that this is a rural area and while the TV and wifi are reliable, we can not be responsible for WiFi outages, The back deck is furnished with chairs for relaxing when the weather is warm and a propane grill. There is also a fire pit area for bonfires + stargazing in the summer months. The kitchen is fully stocked with a pan set, skillet, toaster, knife block, flatware, glasses, cooking utensils etc. Appliances include refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, Kuerig (Kcups are provided), and microwave. Next to the kitchen is a full laundry room. Detergent is provided under the sink. Your favorite part of this home is going to be the finished garage that has been turned into a game room- including ping pong, and a basketball arcade game. We bet this is where you'll spend most of your time with the family. The Pocono Mountains offer endless activities and things to see so whether you're looking for winter sports, water activities in the summer, hiking, boating, horse back riding, or even a petting zoo for the kids this is the place to visit. On nights that you decide to take a break and skip cooking dinner (we don't blame you- you're on vacation after all) Honesdale, Cochecton, and Callicoon all have a variety of delicious dining options and all a 20 minute drive or less.
