Thank you for being respectful and keeping it clean. The shared back yard lanai has a BBQ for you to grill on, a pic nic table to eat at and a shaded work station table with a power outlet to plug in your device. Free WiFi access throughout the property! It’s truly a place to call home, meet amazing like minded people, make memories and share Aloha! One free parking space is included. If you don’t have a vehicle, the space will be made available for my other booked guests. *Thank you for your patience. We are all working together at surf camp to keep it running smooth while Raven is physically absent from camp. Recently, she was badly injured with broken bones in a horse back riding accident. Her surgery was successful but she is recovering in town. Please message her anytime before 9pm for help. Lyra, The awesome on-site manager is happy to help as well as our other friendly month to month campers who are happy to lend a hand or answer a question. We appreciate your understanding during this time. We hope you have the same great experience that we aim for! Your tent is private and in a shared large back yard. Enjoy all the shared common areas. Please do not go into any of the cottages or surf shack. You have a one designated free parking spot during your stay. My property manager Lyra and I both live on property and can be found around the property keeping the grounds clean, joining in at the camp fire or just enjoying our private spaces. Pls say hi and join in on the “hostel camp vibe” or if you choose, enjoy your own space. I am available to help at anytime. Please do not knock on our doors unless it is an emergency. I can be reached by text or via airbnb. I will do my best to answer immediately. Mahalo! The location can’t be beat. You’ll be peacefully tucked away at the back of this one acre property in the heart of Haleiwa, yet so close to everything this quaint surf town has to offer. There are great food trucks steps away. You’re a 12 min. walk to the beach, a 2 min. walk to a grocery store, and short walking distance to all the cute boutiques and great restaurants in Haleiwa. Get the real Hawaii experience! Please note: It gets dark at night. If possible, check-in during daylight. We have spot lights and a lamp in your yurt but navigating at night the first time can make check-in difficult. A car is recommended if you plan on touring around the island. If you want to just soak up the North Shore then this is a perfect place to stay. Its walking distance to everything you need; beach, food and entertainment. If renting a car, please let me know the make, model & color before your arrival. The bus stop is steps away and easy to catch to other surrounding beaches along the North Shore coast. Enjoy the famous 7 mile miracle starting from Haleiwa. Local driver service is $50 for pick up at airport or drop off. Please contact me for Wes’s airport service info. Please note: * All guests must be 21 years of age or older. Two guests max. *This is a unique stay and a shared campsite best described as a “camp hostel” vibe. If you’d like to be remote and have complete peace and quiet with no one around this is not the place for you. Please bring ear plugs if your are a light sleeper, there are wild roosters all over the North Shore that don’t respect your sleep. *There are many surf shops near by and surf vans on the beach that rent and sell surf boards as well as give lessons. We do not rent surf boards. There are surf racks at camp to store your board. *We have snorkel gear and boogie boards available for you to enjoy during you’re stay. First come first serve. *Onsite laundry is not available. You have the options of hand washing your cloths in the large industrial sink and hang drying on your drying rack or go to the nearest laundry matt a 5 min. Drive way. Stray cats are also seen on the property, we ask you don’t feed them please. They eat the geckos to fill their bellies and we feed them at our back door :) We have three pet cats. Onyx is a sweet black cat with green eyes and scared of everything. Pharaoh is a beautiful blue eyed boy with white fur who will most likely greet you with a walk by rub; and Perfect is a sweet grey and black tabby with beautiful stripes. Please do not feed them or let them in your yurt. We’d hate for them to mark your territory with spray. Mahalo :) The kitchen is almost fully equipped. There is a BBQ, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, kettle, rice cooker, blender, hot plate and toaster oven. Dishes, pots, pans and food bins are also supplied. Pls note: you can only use one appliance at a time or the breaker will blow. The common areas are shared with other guests in yurts and the tenants in the Surf Shack. We all like to get together for campfire nights, so please join. There isn’t an official invite, you’re always invited. * please note: you are camping in a yurt in the wilderness, there are bugs and the tents are not bug repellant. We ask that you keep the tent door and windows closed to avoid insects from coming in. Mosquitos can also be bad, especially after rain. Please bring repellant. If you tend to get cold and need an extra blanket at night, please ask me and I’ll be happy to bring one to you. We have enough supply for 2 blankets per yurt total. *You will be provided with one clean set of bath towels (2 towels, 1 hand towel, 1 facecloth), 2 beach towels, linens and blankets (2) during your stay. Feel free to wash your towels and linens as needed at the laundry mat at your cost. Extra sets and/or fresh sets can be exchanged at an additional cost. Service animals: I’m sorry we are not able to accept bookings for service animals that are dogs. We love all animals and wish it was different. We have a special needs cat that adopted us who is also an emotional support animal. She unfortunately, can not co-exists with dogs. She will hide for weeks if she sees, hears or smells a dog. It’s not fair to her. She is an outdoor cat and the yard is shared. Thank you for understanding. We know you’ll find a place that is a better fit for all animals. You can not receive mail door to door at this location. Please ask for postal options if needed. *please note: the property next door and the agriculture land behind us will be working on renovating their office building and children’s ag educational program for their non-profit. There can be days with tree cutting or construction. I do my best to give guests a heads up when the project manager lets me know of days they’ll be working. It’s random and sometimes a few days in a row. Permitted times for construction are 7:30am-5pm.
