This treehouse features beautiful year-round mountain views, and can be found elevated off the ground by a single tree. Guests will be entranced by the unique colors and textures featured throughout. This two story treehouse can comfortably sleep four guests with a queen bed in the loft and a futon that unfolds into a full bed on the main level. On the connected entrance platform, there is half bathroom, with access to showers and an additional bathroom at our bathhouse facility. Treehouse La Paz features a beautiful mountain view off the back porch with plenty of space to lounge and relax. Inside, guests will find a queen bed in the open loft upstairs and a full size futon on the main level. The treehouse is an open concept floor plan centered around a single tree to maximize space and functionality. On the main level, there is a stocked kitchenette and barstool seating at the counter. You'll find various board games available in the ottoman as well. La Paz has an entrance platform that features a covered seating area, a sink, counter space, a Blackstone Griddle, and a private half bathroom. Guests have access to an additional half bathroom and showers at our Bathhouse Facility. Our Bathhouse Facility is 60 yards away from the treehouse. The bathhouse has four separate rooms, plus our office. Two rooms are single showers, and two rooms are half bathrooms. The bathhouse is a shared facility. It is fully climate controlled for year-round comfort and is cleaned daily. We will provide all linens and towels during your stay which can be found inside your treehouse. Guests are welcome to request additional linens as needed. The path is well-lit, so there’s no need to worry if guests arrive in the evening. The property owners live on property and are readily available to help during check in and check out. Each treehouse has its own private fire-pit with firewood and fire starter provided. Each treehouse is dog friendly with no additional fee. Here at Treehouse Mountain, our goal is to provide everything that we would want if we were to travel to other rentals. During your stay, you can find that we are readily available if there's anything we can help out with or want help planning your trip to the area as well. Our property is 30 acres of mostly forest, with some open fields as well. Guests have full access to our property, except for the other treehouses that may be rented out by other guests. Quiet hours: To respect all guests vacationing at our property, we have a quiet time of 10 PM-8 AM. You're still welcome to enjoy camp fires or sitting out on the porch, etc. We just ask that there's no loud music or anything that may cause a disturbance to other guests. The property owners, Tom and Elke, and their sweet tempered Great Dane Chica, frequent the property during the day and live on the property. They are available to help out if guests have any needs during their stay. Treehouse La Paz is situated on 29 acres of pristine, wooded property at the base of a mountain along with our other three treehouses. There are several springs and creeks throughout, as well as a 9-hole disc golf course. While the treehouse is secluded on the property, it is just 30 minutes from the popular city of Blue Ridge. This provides the perfect balance between nature and relaxation and the many exquisite options for dining, shopping, sightseeing, and adventuring that the surrounding area offers. In addition, the cities of Mccaysville and Copperhill are a 15 minute drive and have a rich history, as well as some great nearby dining options. The Toccoa river, a short drive away, offers world-class trout fishing, tubing, and canoeing. There are outfitters all around that offer rentals and gear of all time to suit travelers and adventurers alike. Head over to the Ocoee River Whitewater Center for some pristine hiking options and rafting when the river is up. Other local activities include golf, zip-lining, horseback riding, high-ropes courses, disc golf, wineries, breweries, orchards, caving and of course, the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. You will probably lose cell signal when you turn off of HWY 74 and onto Stansbury Mountain Road. You should get signal again when you arrive on our property. ***IF YOU ARE COMING FROM THE NORTH OR PASS THROUGH KNOXVILLE, TN ON YOUR WAY, ROUTE TO DUCKTOWN, TN 37317 FIRST AND THEN TO OUR ADDRESS*** This detour is only a few minutes longer but is much easier to navigate. Driving Directions: If heading East on 64 towards Murphy Take a left off the highway onto Stansbury Mountain Road Stay on Stansbury Mountain Rd for approximately 1.6 miles At 1.6 miles you should see a fork to the right for Bethlehem Road Take the fork and stay on Bethlehem Road until it ends (1.2 miles) Take the left onto Burgertown Road and follow that for 1 mile. Treehouse Mountain will be on the left marked by signs at the head of the driveway If heading West on 64 towards Ducktown You can either follow the directions via Stansbury Mountain Road or follow these directions. Take a right off the highway onto Golf Course Road. Stay on Golf Course Road until it comes to an end at Burgertown Road (1.1 miles) - Burgertown Road may not be marked by a sign Take a right onto Burgertown Road and follow it for 1.9 miles until you see the signs marking Treehouse Mountain on the left. If heading South on 68 (from Knoxville or North of us) Set your GPS to Ducktown TN 37317 first, and then to us. It will add a minute to the drive but will be much easier. Your GPS should route you down Stansbury Mountain Road after you make it to Ducktown. ∙ This treehouse has a half bathroom inside and access to showers and an additional bathroom at our bathhouse facility. ∙ We are dog friendly, but dogs and their temperament must be disclosed to us at the time of booking. ∙ We do our best to maintain the grounds without disturbing guests (leaf blowing, cutting grass, cutting firewood, etc. We aim to do this when all guests are out and about during the day.
