Relax in the mountains of So Utah in newly renovated cabin with 2 National parks within an hour drive. The perfect escape from they busy city where you can enjoy fishing, hiking and exploring in an alpine setting with 3 lakes, a beautiful meandering creek, lava flows and some of the best OHV trails around. There is snow!, snowmobiling and sledding in the winter and Brian Head Ski Resort nearby along with Cedar Breaks National Monument, Strawberry Point overlook, Cascade Falls and Mammoth Creek. This 2 bedroom modified A-frame has been recently remodeled with a charming mixture of modern and rustic accents located on 1/2 acre. With a mixture of Pine, Fir and Aspen trees, we have a beautiful outdoor setting. Enjoy the view from the covered porch, outdoor fire pit or the hot tub deck. Enjoy the wildlife in the milder months, see Mule Deer, squirrels, chipmunks, birds, hummingbirds and other wildlife on the property daily. Horseshoe pits, cornhole boards, giant Jenga and Yardzee provide outdoor entertainment for the entire family. At the end of a fun filled day, relax in the sunken hot tub in the evening. There is a small cabin attached to the hot tub deck that we are updating. It is a work in progress, but will always be in a state of usability. Most recent updates are a Roku TV and an outdoor sofa to be able handle wet swimsuits from the hot tub. French doors with windows open to the hot tub. There is a queen Murphy Bed for additional sleeping. It also has desk, chair and WiFi repeater for remote workspace. Inside the main 1300+ sq ft cabin you have a large fully stocked kitchen including a variety of spices, salt, pepper, cooking oil/spray. We set it up so you can cook meals for the whole family, all you need is your food and drinks desired. A dining area, large living room with cozy fireplace and a 65" Smart TV for entertainment. You have your own laundry room where we provide detergent and dryer sheets. And don't forget about the fully stocked coffee bar with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, sweeteners and creamer. Your choice of drip coffee or a selection of pods provided. Upstairs are two bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower. Enjoy beds with warm and cozy blankets, quilts, soft sheets and memory foam mattresses. Your choice of memory foam pillows or plush pillows round out your sleeping experience. There is plenty of closet space and luggage racks for your gear. You can also find an additional queen bed in the living room sleeper sofa. Winter - Please note that we are at over 8500 feet where heavy snow is possible anytime between October - April/May. For your safety, 4x4 or All wheel drive vehicles are required during winter months. The entire property is open to guests. Wood logs have been placed on property perimeter to delineate the boundaries. Please respect neighbors properties by staying within our property lines. There is a utility easement along the back side of property. We want you to have a memorable experience away from the day to day so if you need anything, please message us. We will respond as fast as possible but not during the published quiet hours. Please read all message and attachments we share for your best experience. No matter if you are walking, hiking, riding or driving, everyone waves or says Hi. We all appreciate waves back and if you look like you need help, someone will stop and ask if you’re Ok. We are all family here. Locals work really hard with limited staff, please be kind. You can drive, ride bikes, OHVs or walk throughout our neighborhood and village. There is plenty of parking on or property but no parking on the street. Some areas are narrow. Move to the right when passing. This is beautiful mountain property. All roads in the area are dirt/gravel. Winter - For winter driving (Oct-April or May), a minimum of all wheel drive with snow rated all terrain tires. 4x4wheel drive is best. Please be prepared as heavy snow is possible anytime during mountain winter months (Oct-April or May). It’s a lot of fun too. Restaurant and business hours in the village can vary. It’s best to do your grocery shopping in Cedar City before you head up 14 highway. Our village closes up early, please plan for that. The property is mountain terrian, sticks, dirt, rock, critters and insects during certain seasons. Cameras - The cabin has 3 cameras with audio that are motion activated. They are located at the front door, front parking area and back door. We do not have any cameras inside or near hot tub for your privacy.
