The outdoor seating area located near the lake features Adirondack chairs and a wood burning fire pit. A well lit path leads to the dock and lake where you will find kayaks and a canoe. The property is fairly secluded with no close neighbors. Please note, the yard is not fenced. Guests have access to the house, grounds, lake and dock including kayaks and a canoe. Co-host Mitch Brown lives in the area and will be available if needed. Our house is a about fifteen-minute drive from downtown Petoskey and Harbor Springs. Parking at the house is paved with a wide drive, enough to fit 3-4 cars. Fishing is great on Crooked Lake! We have fishing poles and tackle boxes available to guests. Please note, bait is not provided. The Oden Island Nature Preserve , 50 acres of old-growth trees, wetlands and hiking trails, is across the lake. The small sailboat in the garage is not to be used, please. It is being stored for a family member.
