Welcome to the open, clean, creative space where you can unwind and clear your mind. We hope you will breathe in a time of refreshing in the loft that presides over the lavender capital of North America! During your stay you will have full and private access to the upstairs loft apartment and deck. The top story is an open loft room containing a king bed and sofa bed. The lower/ entry level has access to the second-story deck, a bedroom/ reading nook separated by a sliding glass door. Also on the entry level is the kitchen, living, sleeping cubby and bathroom. Our downstairs neighbors are Clear Image a full service custom frame shop and art hub. There is no TV on the premises, this is intentional as we would love for this to be a place for you to connect with yourself, loved ones and the beautiful nature around you! There is no laundry facility on site but Rainshadow Laundry on 7th Ave is a great place to take care of it!. During your stay you will have full and private access to the whole apartment, deck and one dedicated parking space at the right side of the building near the stairs. You probably won't meet us on your trip but if there is a need we can be reached via text, e-mail or phone. Downtown, in the small town of Sequim! From the visitor's center (and, we agree): "Surrounded by natural beauty and full of small-town charm, Sequim is a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts and lavender lovers and is one of the driest places in western Washington. An active arts community, vibrant downtown, and diverse culinary options make Sequim the cultural and commercial heart of the Sequim-Dungeness Valley on the magnificent Olympic Peninsula." We are within a 6 minute walk to everything: In the morning you can grab a coffee at Hurricane Coffee Co. @ 104 W Washington St, then to the local bakery Pane d'Amore @ 104 E Washington St for a bite. Stroll the touristy shops and The Saturday Market (May to October). You can also stop in on our next door neighbors at the museum - Sequim Museum & Arts @ 544 N Sequim Ave to learn more history about the best selling book THE BOYS IN THE BOAT or view the reconstruction of a mastodon skeleton. Grab some lunch at Fortune Star Chinese @ 145 E Washington St. and work it off with a bike ride, did I mention the bike route is just over our other next door neighbor's greenhouse? On race days you can stand in the front door and wave to cyclists on the Olympic Discovery Trail olympicdiscoverytrail . org. After dinner at The Alderwood Bistro @ 139 W Alder St. you can catch a live show at Olympic Theater Arts olympictheaterarts . org. All this, and you haven't even gotten more than a six minute walk from your front steps! For those wanting to venture further than the 6 minute walk. There is Hurricane Ridge, The Olympic Game Farm, The Port Angeles Underground Tour, The Blackball ferry to Victoria, B.C. (don't forget your passport for this one) and so much more! Local farms will welcome your visit to peruse their selections of fresh produce and Lavender! We do not recommend a stay at our location for anyone who has difficulty with stairs or families with young children who may be prone to giving their parents heart failure.
