Watch for wildlife along the way! Upon arrival at our remote island, we’ll give you a full tour of our property and its amenities, including kayaks, paddle boards, fishing gear, and row boats. Our yurts offer comfortable, outdoor living with a propane wood stove, running water, and private bathrooms featuring a sink, shower, and composting toilet. Please bring your own food and ice; a cooler is provided. Enjoy the best of “glamping” with cozy accommodations in a stunning wilderness setting. Guests are also able to access two community deck spaces, complete with Adirondack chairs and fire pits, to relax and soak in Alaska’s natural beauty. Guest access Enjoy full access to our remote island retreat, including communal outdoor decks and fire pits. Explore the island with non-motorized watercraft, including kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and row boats. Fishing enthusiasts can use our available gear, but please remember to purchase a fishing license before arrival if you are planning on keeping your catch. Note: We provide one private water taxi ride to and from the island, so please bring all food supplies from the mainland. Other things to note Eco-Tourism & Sustainable Stay Awarded the Gold rating in eco-tourism by Adventure Green Alaska, our yurts feature composting toilets, solar power for electricity, propane for heating and cooking, and a rainwater catchment system. Drinking water is delivered daily by boat, and all island construction is eco-friendly. Rates & Inclusions Rates are $850 per night for a couple, with an additional $235 per person for a 3rd or 4th guest. This includes a round-trip water taxi (1-hour cruise each way), and access to fishing gear, wetsuits, and all non-motorized watercraft such as kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and row boats. Food & Amenities Guests must bring their own food, beverages, and ice (coolers provided for transfer and in each yurt). Drinking water is available on the island. Departure & Check-In Departures are daily at 1 PM from Seward Boat Harbor, with a 1-hour cruise. Please meet at the boat by 12:30 PM. On your return, we depart the island at 10 AM and arrive back in Seward at 11 AM. We can also arrange a Kenai Fjords National Park tour on your check-out day. Children Children 12 years and older are welcome. The property has bridges and boardwalks along a rocky edge, which may not be safe for younger children.
