Home is green built, but located in historic Kenilworth neighborhood. Enter through the private patio entrance. This is the lower level of our home so you will hear us in the morning when we get our coffee. Listen to the brassy train horn when it passes through the Village. St. Anne's Church chimes the hour and half hour. Sit on the patio and look over the Blue Ridge. At night, the Village lights twinkle through the trees. Bring your slippers in the winter as the floor is polished concrete. You will have the entire lower level to yourself. Park across from our home, and follow the sidewalk around the right side of the house, to a sliding wooden gate under the deck to your private patio. We respect your privacy, but would love to share our knowledge of local lore and fun. Our neighborhood takes its name from the Kenilworth Inn, located four doors up the street from our house. While our house is only a few years old, the neighborhood is an eclectic mix of architecture from Bungalows, ranches, and contemporary styles. You can walk down the hill to High-Wire Brewery or the new Tree House Cider or Appalachian Vintners. Downtown is less than two miles away. Biltmore Village is a 15 minute walk. Downtown is two miles away, a quick Uber ride. The Blue Ridge Parkway is six miles away. You can walk through the neighborhood up to Beaucatcher Mountain for expansive views (good for a snow day!). Kenilworth Inn lies at the top of our street.
