NEWLY RENOVATED! Cozy studio apartment in a historic building, located in Portland's East End Neighborhood. This location can't be beat! The Space features original hardwood floors, and large windows, subway tiled shower and thoughtful decor. Portland Food Co-Op is directly next door, as is the Walgreen's. Walking distance to Eventide, Honey Paw, Duck Fat, Hugos, Little Woodfords, LB Kitchen, Washington Ave Breweries and Distilleries and Old Port shopping district. The Studio has very high ceilings, and big windows, a fully equipped kitchen, fridge, oven, microwave, hot-water kettle, stove, etc. Enjoy your morning coffee at the bistro table in the living space, or on the shared porch. Comfortable queen mattress. Loveseat, flat screen tv. Clothing storage, and plenty of towels! Guests have full access to the entire studio. There is a shared porch which is accessible from the hallway, near the entrance. The Studio is in a building where my office is located, you may interact with myself or some staff durning office hours. Or my co-host. We give you complete privacy unless you need assistance. Alex will be available to you by phone to answer questions or give recommendations. The Studio is in a perfect location. Right at the bottom of the Munjoy Hill in the India Street Neighborhood. It is just steps away from some of the best restaurants in Portland. About a 5 minute walk to the Old Port and the waterfront. 10 minute walk to downtown/ arts district. There is a wonderful market across the street, a laundromat, and pharmacy. Located close to everything! Portland is very walkable, has plenty of Uber cars around, and there is a bus stop right around the corner. There are also bike rentals close by. Portland has several bike and walking trails. The Eastern Prom, which goes along the scenic waterfront starts close by on Fore street. This is an old historic building. With that comes charm but also some noise from the heat pipes (winter) and the stairs/ floors above. If you are a light sleeper we suggest you bring ear plugs, or use our white noise machine. Portland is a city, so you should expect to hear passers by and some traffic. There is no parking on premises, street parking is available in the area. I am happy to offer tips about where guests park during their stay.
