There is no bathroom attached to the room, but the Showerhouse is a short walk away with two restrooms and additional double sinks along with laundry facilities. Cabins are nestled in the trees of our quiet and peaceful RV park. Come and enjoy camping without all the hassle! A true “glamping” experience! Wind Willows RV park is a little oasis tucked in the sleepy township of Thornton, Idaho. It's right off HWY 20, five miles from Rexburg, home of BYUI. We are minutes from Bear World, Rigby Lake, Heise Hotsprings, and the Sand Dunes. We are located on the pathway to Island Park, Yellowstone National Park, and Grand Teton National Park, all about 2 hours Northward. Come stay with us! In the RV park you'll have access to a small apple orchard, a gathering area that has a grassy volleyball court and cozy fire pit area with picnic tables and chairs. There's also a sand box and play area if you are traveling with young children. We are often out and about at the RV park and don't necessarily socialize with our guests unless they show interest to do so. We respect your privacy! We also live within 5 miles if you need us. We have a manager onsite as well. Wind Willows is a quiet RV park with willow and fruit trees, green grass and the occasional bunnies and squirrels. It's located in the small township of Thornton, 3 miles south of Rexburg. Bear World is a couple miles away, as well as the sand dunes, Heise hot springs, BYUI, Teton Dam Museum and Dam, ETC! Yellowstone National Park is about 85 miles to the north. I'm not aware of any public transportation in Thornton nor the nearby cities. Uber is always a possibility. Please do not be intimidated by the potato warehouse across the street from our entrance. They are a good neighbor and good people. We have had no problems with them. We have had some guests comment it looks sketchy... please know this is a very small town with good hard working, family oriented people. It is a safe and peaceful area.
