The Emerald Valley Inn is a delightful spot nestled in a beautifully serene setting, surrounded by pristine forests and meadows 10 minutes from Lake Crescent at the foot of the Olympic National Park. The beautiful property affords ideal tent site camping with mountain and forest views. There is parking for 1 vehicle at this site. Granny’s Cafe is located onsite for dining. Please check the website for information operating hours. This tent site includes an area for setting up your own tent, a picnic table, and a Solo Stove fire-pit, as well as access to freshwater. There is also a men’s and women’s restroom for guest use and an available shower (fee). Bundled firewood is for sale onsite. We have a mini-zoo on the property with goats, a donkey, chickens, and emus. Located just 14 minutes outside Port Angeles, our guests can enjoy the serenity and beauty of the Olympic Peninsula with easy access to town and some of the best hiking, hunting, fishing, and exploring you will ever find. There is so much to do in and around the Olympic National Forest, so take your time and enjoy your stay! Nearby Olympic National Park entrances like the Sol Duc, Hurricane Ridge, and the Hoh Rain Forest make this location an excellent "base camp" from which you can easily explore the Olympic Peninsula and towns like Forks, Neah Bay and beaches like Shi Shi Beach and Hobuck Beach. Explore the state and county parks, walk the rivers (Dungeness, Elwha, Sol Duc, and many more), kayak on Lake Crescent, or hang around and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Indian Valley. Locally popular Granny's Cafe is on-site, serving up delicious comfort food for lunch, and dinner. Be sure to try their sought after soft-serve ice cream and blackberry pie. Please check the Granny's Cafe Port Angeles website for hours of operation, including seasonal and holiday closures. You will have exclusive use of the tent site that you book and have access to the common areas of the property. We offer our guests a contactless check-in and overall experience if they prefer. However, we are here on the property and are available for their needs from 7am to 9pm. Stunning beautiful surroundings abound here at the foot of the Olympic National Park in the Indian Valley. The property is centrally located to the park to conveniently fan out in all directions to the many beautiful destinations the park has to offer, all the while being only 15 minutes from downtown Port Angeles. * Bring your own tent, these are primitive sites with fire pits, shared restroom facilities and access to freshwater. * Parking is available at the site (instructions will follow after reservation is booked). * Car and small van camping is allowed at this site. * Trailers and RVs are prohibited. * Please keep in mind that this campsite is on private property. * A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed at your site but MUST remain on a leash at all times. We have free-range chickens on the property. * There is a shower available for tent campers for a fee ($3 for 15 min. or $5 for 30 min.). PLEASE NOTE that towels and toiletries are not provided. Towels can be purchased at the office. There is a men’s and women’s restroom behind the cafe building, as well as a portable toilet near the campsite during the summer season. * Tent sites are limited to 2 guests, or 1 family sleeping in one tent driving a single-vehicle. * (Max 4 guests at a site) For parties of multiple guests and vehicles, please book an additional site or contact us directly. * Bring your own firewood, or we do have bundles available for purchase. * To add to the beauty of our remote area, there is no lighting at the campsite at night. This is good to remember when you plan to arrive late after sunset. * Use of generators is prohibited at the campsite due to noise. * There is no WiFi service available at the tent sites. However, we do have good LTE/4G cell phone reception while on the property via the AT&T and Verizon networks in our area. * Granny’s Cafe is our locally renowned onsite cafe. Please check its website for info on operating hours as well as weekly, winter and holiday closures. The cafe IS NOT open 7 days per week.
