Yea! Come breathe in the healthy salt air! The apartment is walking distance to beach (5-10 min walk). Walk to boat to plate restaurants right on our street. The space is a clean, comfortable & private 2nd floor apartment with private entrance - top floor of 2 family house. Price is for 2 guests. Each additional guest is $40/person/night. Linens & towels are included for bookings over $125 per night. Otherwise, we can provide for $10. Located on the East end of Channel Drive; short walk to Jenkinson’s beach and north end of boardwalk. Summertime: fireworks every Thursday, free movie on the beach every Friday. The best lobster rolls and seafood on our street. Walk to waterfront patio bar with live music. Sunday Farmers Market May- Oct. Long before we ever heard the term COVID19, we were practicing diligent and consistent cleaning practices. Now, we’ve become even more thorough. Here’s our routine (done between each guest). Cleaning products include Clorox Bleach Gel, Bon Ami or Ajax with bleach, PineSol, Dr. Bronners castile soap, vinegar solutions, lysol disinfectant spray, Arm and Hammer washing soda. All cleaning towels are washed immediately after we clean the apartment, and washed on the highest heat. We clean and disinfect all of the following: Bathroom- all faucets, handles, product bottles (like shampoo), shower curtains and doors, showers and tubs, sinks and toilets. Kitchen - coffee maker, microwave, cabinet handles, sinks, plates, cups and flatware. General: doorknobs, fans, light switches, remote controls, table tops, and all frequently touched surfaces. Linens: We change all used sheets and towels between each guest- and wash them in hot water. Pillow are covered in pillow covers and pillow cases. Kitchen towels are changed between each guest. Floors: vacuumed and then cleaned with pine sol. Carpets are vacuumed between each guest. Vacuum: we regularly empty the vacuum drum, and remove the foam filter and wash and dry. We open the windows while we clean (weather permitting). Trash: Cleaning trash is immediately thrown out after we clean each apartment. Garbage is also thrown out between each guest (even if they have barely any trash). We stock the apartment with paper towels, tissues, shampoo, conditioner, disinfectant soap. Let’s see… am I forgetting anything? Basically, we take cleanliness very seriously. We want your stay to be enjoyable and lovely - just like what we enjoy when we travel. Save the Ocean - Save the World The same way Airbnb connects us all, the oceans connect us all. To that end we are dedicated to living greener. Our yards are 100% organic- no pesticides, herbicides or fertilizers. No chemicals at all! We have native plants attracting birds, bees and butterflies. For example, you’ll find Milkweed in our yard/ it’s the only plant that Monarch Butterflies will lay their eggs on. Fell free to pick the apples from our tree, use any of the fresh herbs - anything in our garden - it’s all organic! No más plástico! No way do we use plastic laundry detergent bottles. Instead we use Tru Earth detergent strips. We make our own liquid soaps out of soap bars and refill dispenser bottles. We have bikes in the shed for you to please use- no more unnecessary driving your car and contributing to pollution. We have recycling bins for you to please use, and most of the furniture we found at local shops and antique retro stores in town. (Not the beds- they’re brand new). In 2022-2023 we helped preserve 30+ acres of local woodlands (Breton Woods), and we donate over $1000 annually from our rental income to Save Barnegat Bay. What else can we do? You tell us- we’re always happy for your suggestions. Thank you so much for reading this! Shared use of the backyard and grill. Otherwise, this 2nd floor apartment is an entirely separate apartment from the 1st floor apt below Text us anytime for anything. We’re usually close by, but you probably won’t see us. We like to give guests their privacy. Beachy & fun walkable neighborhood - 2 1/2 blocks from the beach and Boardwalk (5-10 minute walk) Free beach concert every Wednesday on the beach (North end), fireworks on Thursdays. Walk to the fun and outdoor waterfront Patio Bar, and Boat-to-Plate Seafood restaurants. Our charming downtown has great shopping and antiques. Off-street parking: The RIGHT lane of the driveway is designated for parking your car. Best way to get around in the summer is by foot, bicycle or Uber/Lyft. We have bikes in the shed you’re welcome to use! All linens and towels are included for bookings over $125 per night. Otherwise, we can provide for $10. Coolers on the beach: Cooler Policy: At the request of the Borough of Point Pleasant Beach, absolutely no coolers larger than 13 inches in width, length or height will be permitted on the beach. A friendly reminder, all coolers will be checked before accessing the beach by the Fun Police. J/K- the town makes the beach owners do this.
