Be my guest!!! My home is extremely eclectic...full of surprises, curiosities and comfort everywhere. there are board games for some one on one home Experiences. There is no computer...no lap top....there are books to read and a Zen board to paint on to help you relax and decompress. The entire first floor of my home is available to you and so is the laundry room in the basement. when you walk in the kitchen you will see a door on your right to downstairs. I would love to meet you when you check in!! so go ahead and ring that doorbell!! It's generally nice and quiet, However, You may hear the occasional siren, or the occasional announcer at the local high school sporting events, but it is rare. Since my home is centrally located, getting anywhere is a breeze. you can walk to Starbucks, Walgreens, Jimmy Johns...or even the river...depends on how far you like to walk. Less than 5 minutes to the bypass, roughly ten minutes to the hospital, and moments from downtown. when you head out of my driveway and go up a block and You will run into Frederica Street... It is the main artery of our town. if you turn right...you are heade towards the river...if you turn left, you will find many restaurants and local businesses. This town is not hard to navigate, I strongly recommend you typing addresses/destinations/business names into maps for the most accurate directions. Welcome to my home... She is old, so...she has a few secrets. First of all, to turn on the ceiling fan in the living room, you will find a remote control located above the piano. Secondly, All three lamps in the living room operate by pull strings. The bright fabric lantern in the corner has a cord that runs down the left side of the curtain behind the couch. spin the wheel...voila...light! When you enter the sitting room/library, you will notice a pair of orange curtains, behind them, will find the light switch for the room and the thermostat for your comfort. To use the lamp in the sitting/reading room, there is a power strip located behind the chair on the left, It will turn on your reading light. In the kitchen, you will find ice trays in the freezer... please refill them for the next guests. In the cabinet in the living room, you will find extra blankets and board games. In the cabinet in the sitting/reading room, you will find the air mattresses. I recommend turning the coffee table sideways and placing both air mattresses in the same room. In the large armoire, you will also find extra sheets, blankets and a first aid kit, lint roller and just in case the lights go out due to inclement weather, open the drawer and you will find matches, candles and a flashlight. In the kitchen, I hope that you find everything that you need to prepare a meal for your family. There is coffee and many herbal teas located just above the coffee maker. On the refrigerator you will find several magnets, you can write a story or a poem while I'm gone... You will also find a zen board to paint on... all you need is water... the painting will last a few minutes be sure and take a picture so you can keep it forever ever...it only disappears if you don't save it. Also, The last thing you will need to know is about the water pressure in the bathroom sink (only)... It isn't the best but the house is 107 years old... I recommend brushing your teeth when you take your shower...for real. You will also find some weights and a yoga mat in the corner of the bedroom if working out is your thing.
