Tucked in the East Tennessee foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains on Douglas lake you will find this three bedroom, four full bath home with 2 living areas and private dock. You will love the peaceful ambiance of Reflection Cove, where your soul can take rest. Relax with a book, have a fun day on the lake or drive into Pigeon Forge for action. Downstairs is a second family room for the kids and teens to retreat for fun and games. The futons (not included in bed count) could sleep 4. Our cabin, Reflection Cove, is a waterfront cabin on Lake Douglas with a private dock. Please keep in mind Douglas is a TVA lake so water levels can vary. From Mid April-End of September the water levels at Reflection Cove are at their highest. In the colder months the cove will be low water levels or empty. It is 20 minutes or less to downtown Dandridge which offers dining, shopping and events. The home is only a 40 or so minute scenic drive to Dollywood, Splash Country and all that Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg area have to offer. Close to many day trips and beautiful hiking and caverns. You have access to the entire property. We do have a few closets/dressers dedicated to owners only as we use this home frequently. Because we stay here, you will find this is not a stripped down rental. It is more like coming to stay with a family member and them not being home. We will have a lot of the basics you need- coffee, laundry detergent, spices, toiletries…etc. Welcome to call or text us anytime. We will not be meeting you at check in more times than not. We do have cameras on the outside of the home to keep an eye on things when we are not around- lake water levels, package deliveries, etc. Paradise landing is beautiful. It’s like a nature preserve. You will see deer, turkeys, amazing blue herons in the yard by the water. Very peaceful and private!! There’s a golf cart in the garage you’re welcome to ride on if you agree to the rules of use. You’ll need your own car. No Uber here. **The standard cell service is poor but we have a way around it with our high speed internet. You must log onto Wi-fi (Butlerlakehome) from your cell phone and activate ‘wi-fi calling’ (free, located in your settings) to make and receive calls/text messages. I use FaceTime a lot when I’m there. It works without a hitch. Internet works perfectly. We stream Netflix, etc. I’m able to work from this location (always have to be available) via email/text/FaceTime mostly but a call can be made if needed. Best service outside on deck lakeside. Pets- I’m much closer to saying no pets than pet friendly only because this house is my baby. That said, I make exception for mature (2 years and older), extremely low shedding or no shedding dogs (no cats) that are well behaved and fully trained. Two dog maximum. No dogs over 60 lbs or aggressive breeds. No pets on the furnishings or on/in the beds please. Dogs must be left crated when unattended. Large crate provided on property. *This home is on a well.* The water isn’t treated by the city. The water comes from the well into the water treatment system in the house. The well is treated monthly and water filter is changed monthly. You may still smell a Sulphur like smell from time to time which is totally harmless and normal. It’s just common in this area. We do provide drinking water and ice as we understand people from outside the area may not be comfortable drinking well water.
