We have a climate controlled sunporch. Cable, Wi-Fi, Netflix. Handicap accessible. Kayaks and tubes available; about a 2 mile float from Ocoee dam #1 down to the dock. There are three levels of docks at the river. Gas/charcoal grill. Also, there is a fire pit with plenty of wood. The river is controlled by TVA, it's usually down in the morning so you can explore and swim, kayak and fish. Most afternoons the river is flowing for a lazy float down to our easy and accessible dock. Close proximity to many rafting companies for rafting down the upper Ocoee River. See where the 1996 Olympics (whitewater) were held! There are stables nearby for horse back riding. There is an area on top of the mountain for picnics swimming and hiking on Chilhowee Mountain. Many other attractions in the area. Wineries. Mennonite market. Unique restaurants nearby such as The Ocoee Dam Deli and Lottie's Diner. Some day trips in the Chattanooga area include Rock City, Ruby Falls, Lake Winnepesauka theme park, Tennessee Aquarium, Coolidge Park, National Cemetery and so much more! Cleveland is 15 minutes away. Chattanooga is a 45 minute drive. Guest have 4 deck spaces for use. One just outside our climate controlled Sunroom. Three on the river. Covered middle deck has a fridge, microwave and coffee pot, ceiling fan and lights. There is a gas / charcoal grill at the rivers edge. Willing if available to take tubers to Dam and drop off for floats or Kayaking down river Our rental is on a dead end neighborhood road along the Ocoee River. Nice for walking. Homes are spaced out. Nice scenery! Plenty of parking on premises. Chattanooga 45 minutes. Gatlingburg/Pigeon Forge about 2.5 hour drive. Atlanta 2 hours.
