This home is set on the camp grounds of Strawberry Park. With three pools, hot tub, parks and playgrounds and endless scheduled activities for kids and adults. Each week has a new theme with activities based around those themes. This is rented bare bones so you will need to bring towels and linens during your stay. There are tons of things to do in the park and the nearby areas. Around 10 minutes from both Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun casinos. 15-20 minutes out from mystic aquarium and seaport. Everything you need to know: STRAWBERRY PARK The property is located inside Strawberry park camp resort. An elite campground, Strawberry Park has all the activities and amenities of a resort while still retaining a family oriented, camping feel. It is best known for its themed weekends and scheduled activities. For example there are kanjam tournaments, face painting, ceramic making workshops, line dancing, and even a Tiki bar poolside for some adult summer relaxation! It is a one bedroom/one bathroom home. The bedroom has a queen size bed with plenty of closet place. The living room couch pulls out into another queen size bed. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, 4 burner gas stove, and a microwave. Plenty of counter tops and dual sinks. The bathroom is standard with a shower/tub. The upstairs loft covers over 1/2 the square feet of the first floor. It's wide open and can easily sleep 4-5 adults comfortably. There is an air mattress provided. There is a large deck area you can, eat drink, and hang out. There is a table of 4 with another picnic table on the deck (NOT SEEN IN PICTURES). There are plastic outdoors chairs you can move to the front yard to sit around the fire. Feel free to use what wood is there, and if you run out of wood, it's available for purchase at the front office. WHAT TO BRING All rentals at strawberry park come bare bones. This means you will need to provide EVERYTHING. I suggest you pack as if you were going camping. This includes: -Linens/pillows -Towels -Cookware/Pots/Pans/Utensils/Cups/mugs -Soap and other toiletries. -Paper towels/toilet paper -Cleaning Supplies **Sometimes this is available under the sink but not guaranteed* In the event that you forget something, there is a camp store on premise that you can purchase items. There is also a Walmart one exit from the campground and is very convenient for last minute items. MISCELLANEOUS There is a $5 fee per day for WiFi in the park. You can choose to purchase it through the park if you would like. I ask that you treat my home like it is yours. I don't charge a cleaning fee because I have good faith you will treat it correctly and clean up after yourselves. I appreciate your kindness and cooperation in advance.
