Sunny Downtown Apt Walk to Cornell IC Pet friendly
I LOVE dogs, and we are super pet friendly w/ NO pet fees, no limit and no breed restrictions. Best place to bring your dogs in Ithaca! Perfect for Ithaca College & Cornell events and visiting kids at school, wine tours, hiking, visiting the lake & just relaxing. Walk to Ithaca Commons, Cornell, Ithaca College, festivals on the Commons (and at all the parks), The State Theatre, Moosewood, Press Bay Alley, waterfalls, restaurants, bars, coffee, farmers market, shopping, and fabulous hiking! ♥️🐾 Huge, sun-filled, airy, apartment with original hardwood floors & woodwork, floor to ceiling windows and 10 ft ceilings. It is on the second floor of our historic home in Downtown Ithaca, two blocks away from the Commons. The sun streams in and lights up this space all day long. The three season porch off of the bedroom is the perfect place to unwind anytime with a cocktail or a cup of tea and a book. There is a heater out there in the fall and winter, allowing it to be used year round (this is my favorite space in the whole house!). It feels like being in a treehouse. We live on site and are always available for questions and recommendations! Our house is an 1800's Italianate Queen Anne in a quaint, quiet neighborhood of large, older Victorian homes in the historic Henry St. John's district in Downtown Ithaca. We are blocks from the Ithaca Commons, Press Bay Alley, Moosewood, GreenStar Cooperative, The History Center, The State Theatre, the Tompkins County Library, Gimme Coffee, Cinemapolis, Ithaca Falls, Beechtree, Clinton House, the Kitchen Theatre, Purity Ice Cream, Ithaca Bakery, Collegetown Bagels, Six Mile Creek, and Wegmans...just to name a few places. The Commons is populated by countless restaurants, coffee house, shops and entertainment - there is something for everyone! We are also within walking distance to the many local festivals and concerts for which Ithaca has become famous! We are in the beautiful Finger Lakes, minutes away from Cayuga Lake, Cornell University, Ithaca College, Fingerlakes School of Massage, Ithaca Boat Tours of Cayuga Lake, Cornell Botanic Gardens, Johnson Museum of Art, Cascadilla Gorge Trail, Cornell Cinema, The Cayuga Nature Center, ice skating at Lynah Rink, The Cayuga Waterfront Walking Trail, Stewart Park, the Hangar Theatre, Beechtree, Myers Park, the Ithaca Farmer's Market, the Inlet, the Dog Park, Helen Newman Bowling Lanes (at Cornell), the Finger Lakes Wine Trail, Taughannock Falls State Park, Buttermilk Falls State Park, Robert H. Treman State Park (aka The Dog Park), Cass Park Rink & Pool, DeWitt Park, Six Mile Creek Gorge Trail, Cornell Plantations, The Sciencenter, Fall Creek, Namgyal Monastery, The Haunt, The Sagan Planet Walk, Greek Peak, Hopshire, Cascadilla Creek, Museum of the Earth, Ithaca Children's Garden, Treman Marina, Cornell Lab of Ornithology, Six Mile Creek Vineyard, Ithaca Beer, Ithaca Visitor Center, countless gorges, public golf at the gorgeous Newman golf course... the list is endless! You can walk pretty much everywhere from our house. If you don't have a car, the local Tompkins County Area Transit (TCAT) bus stop is just around the corner (there is a bus schedule in the apartment) and can take you almost anywhere in the City of Ithaca metro area. Uber & Lyft are both available here. Free, unrestricted parking is always available on our street. Please remove your shoes when you’re inside the apartment. This is a quiet building - please be reasonable with music, tv, etc..
