Gorgeous on site hiking trails, surrounded by farms, orchards and wineries only 30 minutes from Charlottesville, 40 minutes from Jefferson's Monticello and 15 minutes from small town of Crozet. Cottages lovingly refurbished and renovated by owners. Located within sight of other cottages. Our prices include county taxes and Virginia state taxes. The property is open 24 hours a day for guests to come and go. Please respect our quiet hour of 11:00 PM. You will receive a key to the main office where brochures, landline telephone and internet can be accessed 24-hours a day. The cottage has Wi-Fi available in the cottage. A Montfair Resort Farm employee is on site seven days a week with weekday hours 9 to 5 and weekends 9 to 2 pm. Two of the owners live one mile down the road. We are happy to help in anyway if needed. The main office has maps, local brochures and itineraries for the local area. We let our guests have as much privacy as need be but are easily accessible for concerns, questions, help and willing to help with local itineraries, information or any assistance needed. 5 minutes to country stores. 15 minutes to restaurants and a grocery store in the small town of Crozet. 25 minutes to Charlottesville or UVA. 10 minutes to trail entrance of the Shenandoah National Park. 30 minutes to Skyline Drive/Blue Ridge Parkway. 40 minutes to Thomas Jefferson's Monticello or James Madison's Montpelier. 4 wineries for tasting within 5 miles. A bicycle, car or taxi is needed to travel to our cottages. We are 20 miles from the Charlottesville Airport and 18 miles from the Greyhound Bus Station. We are 4 miles off the Trans-American 76 bicycle route. Individual cottages do not have land-lines. You have access to the land-line phone in Main Office 24/7. Mobile phone reception varies widely between services and in most cases is limited. There are certain spots you can stand to get cell phone service around the property depending on your service. Water is deep well water that is gravity fed to cottages. Water pressure is not as strong as you would expect in an urban setting. Water is excellent quality and tastes delicious!
