Enjoy Charlottesville with this charming & quiet getaway, while supporting Camp Holiday Trails, a year-round nonprofit camp for children with medical needs. The cabin is nestled in the picturesque campground, where guests can enjoy the scenic beauty of Virginia wilderness. This cozy cabin is perfect for families or groups, sleeping up to 6-7 guests, between 2 rooms. The 1st is comprised of 2 twin-over-twin bunk beds, while the master includes a private bathroom and a twin-over-full bunk bed. While this cabin is furnished, its sister cabin is located right next door and is available to book through airbnb via https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/27077745. The two cabins can be booked at the same time for even larger groups, sleeping 15 guests between them. The cabins are connected by an expansive joined deck with chimenea, perfect for dinner parties with friends, roasting s’mores on the fire pit with family, or for kicking back with just you, your favorite book and a blanket. This is an ideal getaway for those looking to break away from 24-7 technology and enjoy the serenity of the outdoors. But if you (or your kids) relapse, there is a small, flat-screen TV with a DVD player. A small desk is also available for use. WiFi is available via a Verizon cell tower onsite - we do NOT have other WiFi. However, most guests enjoy the opportunity to unplug and recenter. We are next door to Ragged Mt Natural Area with hiking & biking trails, and near Heyward Farms for quiet hiking. This cabin, and its sister, are perfect are for organizational groups, non-raucous bachelor/bachelorette weekends, church retreats or family get-togethers. Adjoining deck Fire pit - chimenea on deck Hiking trails Prior to your stay, we will be in touch to discuss all the details and answer any questions you may have. Together we will decide the best way for you to pick-up/drop off your key, based on your arrival date and time. While we are tucked away in our own little wilderness, the entrance to our camp is conveniently located in the heart of Charlottesville, directly off the 250 Bypass/Rte. 29 for very easy interstate and highway access, but still just down the street from UVa's campus, Fry Springs Station, and Charlottesville's exciting downtown area. Please see PDF download of "For Your Stay," which provides additional guidelines, rules and directions for how to get here. Please be courteous of our camp. Our sole mission is to serve the kids whose camp experience can only be had here. We want to preserve the beauty and quality of our camp for years to come. Prohibited Areas: Ropes Course, Pond, Pool andHorse Stables
