Your family will be close to everything at our home in the Eastern corner of Tennessee. It is centrally located to Sevierville, Bristol, Knoxville and Johnson City. Cherokee Lake and Holston River are within minutes if you like to fish or boat. Hiking, kayaking and other nature activity is all around us here in Tennessee. Virginia and North Carolina are just a short driving distance also. But if you’re simply looking for a place to unwind and relax then our home is the place for you! There is a queen bed in the master with brand new hybrid mattress. Also, a desk for workspace or grooming area. The living and dining area is an open floor plan that leads into a bunk room. The bunk has full bottom and twin top, both with new mattress also. We have a large bathroom with shower that has seating. For your protection and ours, all of the mattresses and pillows are encased. Also, there is an air purifier in kitchen that can be used when cooking or anytime you like. The 630 sq ft home is cooled/heated by an 18K BTU mini-split unit that can actually be efficient up to 1000 sq ft. You have access to entire home and yard which is nestled next to wooded acreage. There is ample parking and room for a boat or trailer if needed. We have a deck with seating and a Blackstone griddle for your use (seasonal). There is a fire pit with benches on the property. I correspond mostly through the Air BNB app but will be available by cell and live 20 minutes away. I do have my mother and uncle nearby for any immediate needs that they can help you with. Our home is located just off of a dead end drive with very little traffic. Occasionally you will see deer, turkey and other wildlife travel through the yard as you are surrounded by their habitat. The birds chirping in the trees is almost hypnotic in the mornings and the neighbor has a pond that you will hear the frogs singing in the evening. The parking is gravel and the walk way will have stepping stones and pea gravel leading to the porch. There will be a set of 2 steps and then 4 steps with a handrail to enter home. Large chain grocery stores are within 6 miles (Food City) and 10 miles (Walmart). Several Dollar Generals are in the same distance. Historic Amis Mill and Dam with eatery is just 2 miles away. Other unique locally owned restaurants and shops can be found downtown Rogersville.
