After a day at the beach, hiking, boating or shopping, you can relax in one of our private, stylish bungalows, while taking in water views and listening to the birds sing. At night you may want to try one on the amazing local restaurants from Madison to Old Saybrook. We also have outstanding theater and farmers markets in season. You can also stay in and have a romantic dinner in with fresh veggies from our garden and wine from the local winery. You will fall in love with this historic area! The 4 Bungalows are behind the main house, circa 1785, and are nestled between two beautiful gardens with views of the Long Island Sound and the Marina. The interiors have anthropology furniture paired with beadboard vaulted ceilings and quality kitchen supplies, linens and very comfortables beds, with outdoor seating and wagons to take to the beach. We will send our guests the keyless entry code the morning of arrival. Free parking on prem. Please feel free to email or text Trish once we are booked on the ABA site. Remember you can book both bungalows at the same time for a couples get-a-way vacation! You are close enough to walk to the beach or ride your bike into town. Close to the Clinton Train Station and 95. 69 Waterside Lane is listed as The Capt. James Farnham House circa 1785 on the National Historic Register as a “protected resource.” The Bungalows are also listed as The Morgan Meadow Lane Cottages from 1965. Fun Fact: Mark Elletson is a distant relative, on his fathers side, of Captain Farnham!
