After free parking right outside of your door, you won't need a car for your entire stay! There are over a dozen unique restaurants within a five-minute walk. The Vogue music venue is visible from your entrance & six of the most popular bars and clubs are within walking distance. Broad Ripple summer is filled with local art & music shows. Check out the farmers market on Saturdays (even in winter!), and 50-mile Monon rail-trail for biking and running with plenty of local shops on the way!! Step into your great room with a fully equipped *kitchenette*, living room with a very comfortable pull-out couch, and six-person dining space. Your living room has a wall of windows that overlook the canal and main strip of Broad Ripple. During spring and summer beautiful greenery and flowers bloom down the shore of the canal. In winter, Christmas lights down the strip are visible from your living room. You'll have a large smart TV and some classic DVD's to keep with the retro vibe of Broad Ripple! **Up three steps** are your two bedrooms-The master bedroom is spacious with a pillow top queen bed, and a vanity/work desk. The second bedroom is cozy with a full-size memory foam bed. Both spaces have sheer and blackout curtains to help you sleep soundly with the bright lights in the area. Included in your rooms are ceiling fans, white noise machines, and chargers for your phone. Your bathroom contains a stand-up shower *no bathtub*. Plush bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, make-up towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are stocked with every stay. Your kitchenette has everything needed for a stay-in breakfast, or some late-night leftovers. There is a sink, MINI fridge/freezer combo, coffee & coffee maker, ice tray, two burner electric stove top, microwave, cups/plates/bowls, and pots/pans. *no oven* All rooms in the home have individual A/C and heat mini splits so you can customize each room to your preferred temperature! This cottage is a duplex! There may be guests on the other side of the house- but don't worry, no shared spaces with your airbnb. Your stay has a completely separate entrance and living quarters, but you may occasionally hear other guests enjoying their stay too! :) We live in town-If you need anything at all please don't hesitate to ask. Your comfort is our top priority!! Broad Ripple Village is one of the seven areas of Indianapolis designated as a cultural district. Take full advantage of the Indy thriving bar and restaurant scene by being minutes (on foot!) from the main strip-No need to worry about uber or parking! The canal separates the busyness of Broad Ripple, so foot traffic at your AirBnB is minimal. You'll have all the benefits of being immersed in the night life, with the safety and seclusion of your cozy AirBnB. The neighborhood surroundings are full of bungalows and Broad Ripple is by far the friendliest area of Indianapolis! You'll find many free parking spots at the house. Public transit is within a 3 minute walk from your door with day passes around $4 or $1.75 per ride. Take an IndyGo bike onto the Monon and have a car-free commute to nearby cities like Indianapolis, Fishers, Carmel, and Westfield (goes for 50+ miles!) In summer you may hear traffic or night life, mainly over the weekends-but that goes for any stay in Broad Ripple! Noise machines are provided in every room for those with very sensitive ears.
