Welcome to Lakeridge! Indulge in the breathtaking views of Lake Washington, Cascade Mountains and distant hills from this charming and chic retreat originally built in 1928. The modern upgrades throughout the home offer sophistication yet maintain the warmth of its original character and beauty. Get-away for some well deserved R&R with your favorite couple or take the family to experience everything Seattle and the Pacific Northwest have to offer from this central location. Main Level // The main level immediately opens to the stunning views of Lake Washington and is host to the fully renovated chef’s kitchen with stainless steel appliances, marble countertops and farm sink, dining room with a built-in buffet/bar, living room, powder room and the master bedroom and bathroom retreat with impressive views and a walk-in closet. The front and back decks are also accessed from the main level. The back deck has a gas BBQ and sitting area to enjoy the view (we love watching the float planes take off and land from the back deck!!). The front deck is great for larger gatherings and/or catching the afternoon sun. Upstairs Loft // The upstairs loft is spacious, great for watching TV or reading, has amazing views and can be used as an additional living space or converted to another sleeping area (occasionally, we like to sleep upstairs just to enjoy our own little staycation, it’s that comfortable!). The sofa is fully equipped with a queen size memory foam pull out bed, which can be prepared for you in advance upon request. The upstairs also has a desk nook should you need to tuck away to complete some work or business. Daylight Basement // The second bedroom with ensuite is located downstairs. The daylight basement also features a large family room, oversized sofa, TV (this is our favorite place to watch movies!!), kid’s play area with toys and books, laundry room and an outdoor covered patio. Every TV has an Apple TV for streaming services. Parking // The driveway can accommodate multiple cars. The garage will not be accessible during your stay. Entire house and yard. Enjoy beautiful Lake Washington and Pacific Northwest views altogether in close proximity to both major freeways (I-5 & I-405), downtown Seattle, Bellevue, Sea-Tac Airport and other local attractions and activities. While you're here, be sure to grab a pie from our favorite pizza place less than a mile away (Pizzeria Pulcinella - walkable but mostly uphill on the way back), enjoy a cocktail at the new Hyatt at Southport or head a few miles north for a stroll and coffee through historic Columbia City (the bakery and butcher shop here are great!).
