The one bedroom has a king size mattress w/ padded headboard & reading sconces. The bath has a lg walk-in shower w/ built in bench & a spacious vanity plus a W/D. Kitchen is equipped with a full size oven and fridge. There are & pots/pans. Enjoy complimentary locally roasted coffee beans, tea & cocoa. The Tanner House in Girdwood was built in 2018. The home is heated by natural gas and is on city water. An on demand hot water heater ensures you will have a hot shower. The 5 star energy rating will keep you cozy and warm in the winter season. Guests have their own one bedroom apartment with private entry. There is no shared space. I clean and sanitize all surfaces between guest arrivals. Guests also have access to cleaning supplies in rental. Central location. By Foot: 15 min walk to the Girdwood brewery(maps in rental). 20 min walk to restaurants, ski lifts and bar (1.2 miles). 12 min walk to free shuttle (1/2 mile). By Car: Minutes to everything Girdwood has to offer. During spring, summer and fall Girdwood has easy-moderate-difficult hiking and mountain biking options. Making it accessible to all skill levels. Don’t feel like eating in? Perfect! Girdwood is home to several great restaurants. Here are some of my favorites: The Double Musky, Jack Sprat and The Bake Shop. Several bars and a brewery are great hang outs when you are in the mood to indulge & socialize. The brewery offers outdoor fire pits and food trucks. Live music is available most weekends at the Sitzmark. In winter cross country & downhill skiiing & snow boarding at the Alyeska Resort are just minutes away. The Tanner House in Girdwood is located on a paved cul-de-sac in a kid/dog friendly neighborhood. It is at the end of the road so car traffic is minimal, but biking, walking and noises from children playing outside is common. New homes are being built in the neighborhood. Noise levels may increase during that time. There is a free Girdwood shuttle that operates daily. Access to shuttle is about a 12 min walk (half a mile away). Just flag shuttle down and it will scoop you up and take you around town. Paved walking/bike paths also lead into the “new town sight” or to the Alyeska Resort, restaurants and bars. Hi!
