Our home is nestled in a quiet family oriented neighborhood just blocks from downtown. This ideal location (walk to town 0.5 mile and Lake Michigan beach 0.4 mile) welcomes your family to enjoy and love all that Charlevoix has to offer! We do have minimum night stay requirements, but are willing consider accommodating shorter stays. We are able to sleep 8 guests, however with the size of our small home we recommend limiting guests to 6. A fee will be applied to reservations over 6 guests. Our home is located in a great location on the south side of Charlevoix. You are just blocks from Lake Michigan Beach where you and your guests can enjoy Lake Michigan, the public playground area, and visit Charlevoix's Lighthouse. This beach is ideal for viewing the beautiful sunsets each night of your stay. Lake Michigan beach is a beautiful and easy 15 minute walk away, in which you will pass some of the historic Mushroom Houses. The drawbridge, marina, shops, taprooms and restaurants are just a 10 minute stroll away. Charlevoix’s drawbridge is a sight of beauty. You can take the kids to enjoy playing at the splash pad area by the marina at Round Lake! Enjoy relaxing in the great lawns of East Park or visit the shops along Bridge Our home is located in a quite family oriented neighborhood, making this a great location for a quiet family getaway. The front porch is our favorite area, where you can enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail. The back porch is also a nice area to relax. The small backyard offers a nice place for the kids to run or just enjoy being outside. Our cozy home has 2 bedrooms that both have queen beds, an additional full bed located in the upstairs landing as well as a sofa bed available for guests. We usually have a beautiful breeze blowing, but central air conditioning is available for those rare extra hot days. We are able to sleep 8 guests, however, with the size of our small home and limited seating, we recommend limiting guests to 6. A fee will be applied to reservations over 6 guests. Due to the coronavirus, we’re taking extra care to disinfect and clean the entire house in-between reservations. Our cleaning team follows the COVID-19 safety practices, including Airbnb’s 5-step enhanced cleaning process between guest stays. You have the access to the entire house as well as backyard. We do have several families with small children surrounding our home, so we request that when using outdoor spaces to please be mindful of them. Charlevoix can be very busy during the summer months! If you’re just heading downtown to do some shopping and sightseeing- we recommend going on foot. Traffic gets very backed up due to the drawbridge opening on the hour and half hour. This is also the best method to get downtown during Art Fair as well as Apple fest. If you’re in need of a grocery visit- Oleson’s is just a quick ride away- head East towards Bridge Street- take a left at State and then a right on Antrim. The Oleson’s shopping plaza is on your right. Headed to Petoskey- head towards State street- turn left onto Clinton. Using this street is your best chance to turn left. It’ll be a wait but it is the easiest route. Our home is located in a quiet family neighborhood. Our renters have said that it is a great place for a quiet family getaway.
