Our place is close to EastChase shopping Mall, AUM @ Montgomery, Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Museums, and many Parks. Just minutes from downtown Montgomery, the Capital, Civil Rights Landmarks, Rosa Park Museum, The National Museum of Pease & Justice, and the River Walk. Wind Creek Casino & Hotel @ Montgomery, and BB King's Blues Club. Our place is good for couples, solo students, and travelers. Bedroom #1 with 2 Twin-bed. One (shared) bathroom. Office/TV room (3rd guest when rented may sleep here) Front room (for reading, or just to relax your mind) Living room (watch a good movie on Netflix) Kitchen (guests can use but keep it clean) We have a pool, but it is only available in the summer months. Registered guests will have use of all areas of the house, with the exception of "private/restricted room/s. This is our full/part-time residency, so please respect our privacy and avoid the "private/restricted” area which is labeled. This is a non-smoking home, and has an alarm system that we will turn on at night (after 2am). There is also a video surveillance on the exterior and interior (only in the front living room, and kitchen area) on the property. The home is very secure. You will have access to free wireless Wi-Fi internet, cable TV, pots, pans, dishes, cups, utensils, iron, ironing board, washer and dryer to include detergent and dry sheets, refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, and all the small appliances. (Guests are responsible for any broken items, when broken guests will have to pay for it). Linens and towels will be provided. You will be charged $50/pi for linens and/or towels with stains that can’t be removed. Pool only available in the summer. We are both retired and we live in our home also, occasionaly we might go on vacation and you will be greeted by someone else, but we will let you know. We are very sociable and have traveled to many countries and we love to interact with other people of all ethnicity, color, and race. If you are not sociable we will give you your space. We can recommend great places to dine in our area and in the city, historical sites, and cultural attractions to visit during your stay. Please, just ask! We are in a cul-de-sac, so there is very little traffic that is going our way. There are sidewalk so you are able to take a walk around the neighborhood. East Chase shopping mall, restaurants, and movie theater are located within 5-10 minutes away. Baptist Medical Center East is less than a mile away, and BMC South is 7.5 miles from us. AUM at Montgomery is only less then 5 minutes. Alabama State University is less than 10 minutes. Maxwell AFB is only 12 miles from our home, a 15-20 minute drive to Day Street gate. Wind Creek Casino & Hotel/BB King's Blues Club - 3.9 miles Downtown Montgomery only 10 miles, 15 minutes. Super easy access to Interstate Hwy 85 and 65. Montgomery has bad public bus transportation, but there are Uber, Lyft, and Taxi services. There are car rental places not far from our home, Enterprise and Hertz, they will pick you up from our place (not on weekends). Parking for one car outside (please park your car on the left side in front of our garage driveway), other cars can park on the road. There are ceiling fan in every room, with the exception in the office room, and reading room. We will greet you at the front door, otherwise if we are not present the time you will arrive, you will be given a code for the entry door.
